Where She Started

Brittany Bullock, professionally known as Just Brittany, was born on June 11, 1989. Raised in Houston’s 5th Ward area Brittany discovered her passion for music early. Inspired by Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu, and her mother Leticia Franklin who once sang in the gospel group “Praise Community Choir” alongside gospel legend, Yolanda Adams, Just Brittany refined her talents, creating her own unique sound. While music fueled Just Brittany’s creative engine, she also made academics a priority. She excelled through grade school, and graduated at the age of 16 as class valedictorian.

After graduation, Brittany shifted her focus to her music career.. After reaching out to platinum writer/producer Christopher Moore of The Narrators, Brittany hit the studio and became Just Brittany recording what would soon become the hit single that would vault her into the spotlight. In 2010, Just Brittany released her first single “Call Me For That Good” which got her signed to Cash Money Records under the watchful eye of hip-hop mogul Brian “Birdman” Williams. This songstress’ unique and diverse sound has earned her 3 slots on the Billboard charts for “Call Me 4 Dat Good” Slumber Party” and “Color” putting her on the short list of artists to watch. Just Brittany's dynamic talents have taken her brand global. Far beyond the studio and the  mic, this singer, songwriter and rapper has ventured into TV & Film with plans on continuing to conquer every industry she sets her sights on.
